Everyone is extremely excited about Rihanna’s brand new makeup line Fenty Beauty and with good reason. She has developed 40 different shades of matte foundation, 6 shades of wet or dry highlighters and 30 shades of makeup sticks. There is definitely a color for all the beautiful and diverse skin colors out there. She has created a color for the pale skin woman to the dark-skin woman and for everyone in between. Her collection is not about eye palettes, lipsticks or mascara but more about achieving a beautiful complexion. She has introduced a three-step beauty routine that is similar to her own:
- The first step is a soft matte base which combines a soft focus primer and liquid foundation.
- The second step is a shimmer
- The last step is to blot 🙂

And she didn’t just stop there, she also created her line to be cruelty-free! Kudos to this amazing and beautiful artist for breaking so many barriers; creating an inclusive beauty collection and letting the world know that animals didn’t have to suffer for the sake of beauty! With the media frenzy and hype Fenty Beauty has created, I hope other brands take notice and realize that women come in all shapes, sizes and color and they need more variety from these brands. I also hope they see that a brand can be extremely successful and still be 100% cruelty-free!! I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these!
