You know me, I love to introduce you to the best of the best when it comes to a vegan/plant-based lifestyle. Now, I want to introduce you to a product I recently discovered called Nuzest. Nuzest isn’t your typical vegan protein because it was created by a team of global industry leaders. Imagine a team of naturopaths, doctors and a psychoneuroimmunologist and functional medicine practitioner. Whoa! What a mouth full. This team along with Nuzest founders created “a nutritional platform based on efficacy without compromise; bringing together the best of nutritional science and natural medicine. “

Intrigued by what this team had created, I reached out to the company to try and test a few of their supplements. I mixed each sample of protein powder with my favorite plant-based milk. All of them mixed easily in my shaker bottle. Here are my thoughts on the following products:

  • CLEAN LEAN PROTEIN – SMOOTH VANILLA –
1 serving has 90 calories, 20 grams of protein, 2 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of fat. The vanilla was so delicious. I loved the flavor and consistency and I felt great taking it after my workout.
  • CLEAN LEAN PROTEIN – WILD STRAWBERRY –
1 serving has 90 calories, 20 grams of protein, 2 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of fat. I have to admit that I am not a fan of strawberry flavors but this one wasn’t bad. I can’t say it’s my favorite but for anyone that loves strawberries, this would be a great choice.
  • CLEAN LEAN PROTEIN – REAL COFFEE – 1 serving has 90 calories, 20 grams of protein, 2 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of fat. This is my first time trying a protein shake with a coffee flavor. I was surprised because I actually enjoyed the taste. I don’t ever drink cold coffee drinks but I was pleasantly surprised by this protein sample. It tasted great!
  • CLEAN LEAN PROTEIN – RICH CHOCOLATE – 1 serving has 90 calories, 19 grams of protein, 2 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of fat. Of course, this was my favorite. For anyone that has ever read my articles regarding chocolate, this flavor is always a big winner. Loved, loved it! Smooth, creamy and delicious. I had to make sure I was drinking a protein shake because it tasted like a chocolate vegan ice cream shake. YUMMY!!! And only 90 calories!!!!

I also got to try their Nuzest Good Green Snack bar. The Good Green bar is made with whole fruits and it is also a multivitamin bar. At 150 calories, it has 8 grams of fat, 17 grams of carbohydrates and 5 grams of protein. “So much more than your average snack bar, these are packed full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, probiotics, digestive enzymes and more.”  This bar was chewy and delicious. It provided me with a much-needed energy boost during that 3 o’clock time frame.

You definitely have to give this brand a try. I felt incredible after drinking the protein shakes after my workouts. I never felt bloating or experienced any negative side effects. The taste was sensational and the ingredient list is impressive. You have to see for yourself what all the fuss is about. Give Nuzest a try.
