Dear readers,
I woke up to a day filled with the delicious words by Susan Biali in this wonderful Psychology Today article about me called The New Sexy: How To Sensualize Your Life. Take a read and taste her writing. She and her life are delectable examples of passion, sensuality and finding your own bombshell path.
For readers who've been waiting patiently for me to appear with thoughts, tips, ideas, yummy people to know about, here I am. Bear with me a little longer as I marry the life of Inner Bombshell with being a mom of young twins whose whole summer childcare set up (which allows me to work) just fell through. I laughed to myself when I read Susan's article because I am in the throes of the kind of stress she alludes to... and I needed to be reminded of some of the very things I say !
Coming in the next chapter of Inner Bombshell ... new products and services, a more regular blog, interviews with fantastic people, books to read, art to savor... and more.
If there is anything I learn daily as I navigate this lovely and chaotic life, it's that chaos and sensuality really can co-exist. It's all about setting up your life so it is sensuous no matter the swirl of frenzy surrounding you. It's about creating a world where sexy means something different than the concepts generally offered to us. It's about passing everything you do through a sensuality filter.
As I write, I have a six year old coming in with her endless questions about the world and her pressing can-you-put-this-outfit-on-my-stuffie needs. I have 15 minutes to get us out the door. I have a shower to take and a snack bag to make. Somewhere in here is sexiness. It's around me; it's in me. It's in all of us and it makes our life happier.
Wishing you a day that feels like an alfresco feast in front of a vineyard. Or if that's a bit daunting a goal ... how about simply a bowl of your favorite pasta drenched in olive oil?
Bacioni, bisous, kisses. I will return as soon as I can.
xo
